The computer can be an interesting form of entertainment. Here are some ways I use it to have some fun.

Facebook is a site where I participate in online social networking. It is a site meant for high school and college kids to have a chance to socialize with each other privately and publicly. I have created a profile for myself where I include information and pictures of my life. I began using Facebook so I could reconnect with old friends I had lost touch with after graduation. I also find it useful because I can look up other NU students who I share classes with in case if I need help with school work.

My usage of Myspace is similar to Facebook because I also use it for online social networking. The difference, however, is that users are not limited to high school and college students. I can "friend" anyone I know regardless of their education as long as they have a profile. I like Myspace because there is alot more one can do to their profile as opposed to Facebook. For example, I can change colors or fonts and add images, videos or music to better express myself. I usually check my Myspace account every day.

I am a person who is obsessed with picture taking. When I go out some where, my digital camera is glued to my hand. Webshots allows me to display all my pictures in online photo albums. The albums are organized into categories such as "parties" or "family" etc. They can also be set to private or public to avoid outsiders from seeing private pictures. I like it because my friends can visit my album and save my pictures to their computers themselves. This saves me from having to print out a million doubles of pictures for other people. I also like webshots because I can put a caption with each picture to better describe why I like it or how it makes me feel. Even though I am not directly talking to the viewers of my photos, they will still know what I think about them.

America Online Instant Messenger is a program which I use every day. I am usually signed on and keep an away message up at all times. This way, any one can leave me a message at any time if they need to get a hold of me. I keep the away message up, though, so I don't have to be constantly talking to people and can focus on other things yet still be available if I am needed. I like AIM because it is a quick and easy way to communicate with friends. Also it is a convenient way to send files to "buddies" because you can just send the file through your conversation with just a click of a mouse.

I have had a MSN email account for about seven years now. It is usually the email I give to friends because I have a separate school account which I use for business and school purposes. I receive alot of junk mail from hotmail and it makes me kind of frustrated sometimes, but thankfully the site has a blocking program so I can avoid further emails from certain places.
