CD / Ad Design Assignment

When you assigned the ad design assignment I think to myself “yes, now there’s an English assignment I can do”. It wouldn’t take much work at all. I can do something I enjoy doing and something I do everyday, may be not everyday, but I do more often then writing three-page papers.

Photoshop, the best photo editing software ever made, I don’t have any statistics but if it’s not the best I have to be second best. To think I would get to play with it, special in English, is a dream come true. I’ve never think I would get the chances to do edit photos or do anything on the computer while in English class.

Because we could choose anything we wanted, I chose the only thing that interests me, that is, anything have to do with or have some kind of remote relation with computers. I chose to edit an AMD ad that have an IT guy saying “I expect my technology partner to understand my IT Chalenges” and replace the “challenges” with a word that I think fits me better: “cave”. The thing about technology, I don’t just want it, I crave it, I need it, it’s what makes me complete.

When I was freshman I high school I was this lonely kid who didn’t have anyone to hand with. Most of the time spend at lunch was by myself playing games on my calculator or doing math homework. I got tired of that and start spending my lunch in room 221, the computer lap. That’s where I found the need to have technology. After sitting a week in that class I found hard to get away from the computers. All my elective classes from that day on had to do something with computers. So from my freshman to my senior year all my electives were computer class, java, VB, ITI, ITII…
