Cheryl E. Ball is co-editor of Kairos: Rhetoric, Technology, Pedagogy and co-chair of the CCCC Committee on Computers in Composition and Communication. She has published research on multimodal and new media reading and composition practices in
Computers and Composition, Convergence, Kairos, and Composition Studies. She and Kristin attended Michigan Technological University together, where their collaboration on ix: visual exercises started. Cheryl loves to give advice, unsolicited or not, and has often been dragged away from a graduate student party when she launched into her 'how to get a job' talk.
