Print Survey

Although print surveys have not been a major assessment tool for our program, the two print surveys of teachers that were conducted have been useful assessments, particularly when compared to each other. Though the data sets are not directly comparable because of differences in the questions asked and the responses solicited, Figures 5 and 6 below do indicate a significant increase in the usage of some of our web resources, such as the Gradatorium. Other resouces, such as the Link-O-Mat (with links to sites that contextualize course readings) and the Tutorama, show an increase in occasional if not frequent usage.

At the same time, the results also suggest room for continued improvement, since some segment of our teachers continue to never use these web resources. As with the data collected from students through the online survey, one obvious conclusion is that we must continue to work at promoting the value of our web site and its resources.
