So I'm going to talk about sometimes...my feeling that sometimes people don't know why I'm in the English Department because I don't teach literature courses and I don't do any creative writing--well, I do creative writing for fun, but I...it's pretty much been agreed in the department that itt's better that I not be the one teaching the creative writing courses. Another contextual thing I need to consider is that Kean China does have an English major that has a very strong writing focus, so...we umm...many of these students are just getting started in that, they're in their second year so they're taking our introductory courses and getting to move into things like that, so I can probably help them get ready for what they're going to be getting into.
