A Note on the Design

I chose to create this resource as a webtext primarily because, given the subject matter, it seemed inappropriate to present this information on a printed page. Additionally, portions of the webtext are intentionally media-rich, demonstrating the aspects of digital literacy they describe. The Multimodal Composition page includes images in the "Visuals" section, an audio podcast in the "Sound" section, and a video in the "Multimodal Composition" section; the Information page contains multiple hyperlinks; and the Collaboration page is accompanied by links to social media networks, as well as a link to an annotatable version of the page.
