What can I say further about the comprehensive exams?

John passed with flying colors, but I had to revise a particular question...ironically, the one focused on computers and writing.

I think we sometimes underestimate or refuse to acknowledge the power other life influences might have on our professional work.

We came from an intense regimen of reading and writing related to a focused exam, to a final class in which our final project was going to be converted into an IRB proposal, a conference proposal, and ultimately, ostensibly, submitted to a journal.

We were under a lot of different institutional forms of pressure.

Likewise this timeline for our current project continues as it morphs from professional product to revised professional product.

And we have changed as well.
