I would have loved to have said these sorts of things to my fourth grade teacher who gave me a D in our handwriting class for sloppy cursive.

 

“Writing technology may have hindered the project, because not everyone was as cursively literate as [everyone else].”

 

“Writing helped the project…but in a way I think it hindered us because it was something new to us and was confusing to work at first.”

 

“I guess the only troubling part, if I had to choose one, would be the learning of the new technology that we used in the process of writing the paper.”

 

My objective (completely objective) is not to poke fun at or misrepresent the student voices in this (THIS) project, but to join them.

 

It is difficult to learn how to function in a new medium and how to function well…I’m still learning how to function in this one.
