Software
All programs and applications used to compose this webtext are free of charge, with the exceptions of <oXygen/>, which allows a six-month free trial, and iMovie. This was a deliberate move to demonstrate what scholars and students can do with little or no financial investment.
Author
Trey Conatser is a PhD Candidate at The Ohio State University, where he studies British
Romantic and Victorian literature and culture, digital media, and pedagogy. He attended
DMAC in 2013 and later served as the
Associate Director for the 2014 and 2015 DMAC Institutes. He has worked as a Digital
Media and Pedagogy Consultant for OSU's Digital Media Project, and
is interested in the use of markup languages in writing curricula (read about his
experiences teaching an XML-based first-year composition course in 2013).
