37% of respondents currently assign at least one multimodal project in their composition classroom per semester, and 35% of respondents currently assign at least two or more multimodal projects in their classroom per semester. Only 10% of WPA respondents said that they are required to incorporate at least one multimodal project into their assignment sequences, meaning that even if an individual instructor chooses to add a multimodal component into their assignment sequence, their writing program does not require it.
