Chris | ||||
Like James, Chris entered the class with considerable web development skills. He knew HTML, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, and Macromedia Flash. Unlike Karin, Chris had little trouble executing his design ideas. Chris' big challenge was to identify a viable research project that could hold his interest for 8-10 weeks. The design for Chris' project on operating systems and the open source movement is a fascinating example of content-driven design. The layout for Chris' hypertext consciously evokes the desktop layout for a PC running either Microsoft Windows or Linux.
